Develop your skills in pedagogy and performance to an advanced level, whilst you gain a thorough understand of the unique links between the two.
As a performance and pedagogy student, you will attend weekly one-on-one lessons with our world-class music lecturers. Compliment your performance studies with regular seminars and workshops in selected schools and colleges around Adelaide, to gain a solid understanding of the relationship between the art of musical performance, how teaching is executed and how students learn.
Graduates can begin dual careers: as performers in one or more specialist branches, such as solo performance, chamber music or orchestral playing; and as teachers able to function successfully in a wide variety of settings and circumstances.

Master of Music (Performance and Pedagogy)
The Master of Music (Performance and Pedagogy) is a two-year course which develops your pedagogy skills to an advanced level. Two minor recitals with pedagogy related content are undertaken in Year 1 and a major recital and a pedagogy research project are undertaken in Year 2.
