“The translation techniques taught in class prepared me as a professional translator. The ability to think critically acquired through in-class discussion and after-class reading strengthened my analytical skills. Master of Arts ((Interpreting, Translation and Transcultural Communication)

"As a MAITTC student I am equipped with all practical  knowledge and skills required by an interpreter and translator and I have opportunities not only to learn theories and techniques, but also acquire hands-on and minds-on cross-cultural communication experiences. I have constantly been amazed at how my potential can be unleashed and impossible made possible through unceasing learning and effective training. I truly enjoy studying translation and interpreting in Adelaide by integrating into Australian communities and getting organised for academic and co-curricular activities. At the same time, my passion for languages and literature grows stronger and deeper. Before finishing my first semester, I had gained massive confidence from the encouragement of my teachers. I believe what I have learned here will help me flourish as a professional and make a difference beyond the workplace."
