Recently, the ‘Social Histories of Holden’ project team of historians in the Department of Historical and Classical Studies held a well-attended event titled ‘Remembering Holden’ as part of the SA History Festival.

Through the collection of oral histories and archival research, this project places workers, workplace culture, and the communities in which Holden’s factories were based, at the centre of the company’s history.
