Our teaching
The Department of English, Creative Writing and Film offers undergraduate courses in Art History, including cross-listed humanities courses and flexible online delivery. Courses can build knowledge and skills within the Art History and Visual Culture major or complement external degrees as open electives. We offer courses in Renaissance art north and south of the Alps, Baroque art and architecture, art in the Age of Revolution from Rococo to Romanticism, contemporary art in today's global world, and exhibition development. Discover how images and objects engage our intellect and emotions to compose a dynamic visual record of human ingenuity.
