The Faculty of Arts is pleased ­­­­to invite all year 8 to 12 high school students, their parents/carers and school staff to attend Arts @ Adelaide, our showcase of Arts disci­plines and careers. 

Visit us on campus to discover how studying Arts can open up a world of opportunities. 

Speak to our distinguished academic staff on areas of interest, whether it be music, social sciences, teaching or humanities.

With 60 fascinating disciplines to choose from, students can hear about study opportunities in areas ranging from Sonic Arts, German, Anthropology, Virtual Reality, International Development, Criminology, Creative Writing, Sociology, Indigenous Studies, Politics, Journalism, French, International Relations, Spanish, Classics, Art History, CGI and Visual Effects, Philosophy, Chinese, Gender Studies (to name a few!). 

Students will:

  • Explore our Criminology display and collect the clues to decipher the crime committed
  • Discover how technology has transformed teaching from desks and pens to augmented reality at the touch of an iPad
  • Get hands-on in digital media, whilst you explore the exciting world of Virtual Reality
  • Dress the part, join our photo booth and upload your images to our giant Hub screen.
  • Hear about our 100+ internship opportunities within the Arts
  • Discover how your studies can you overseas with our partner institutions across the globe
  • See our historic campus with tours at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm. Register at the desk on arrival
  • Speak with our graduates and industry partners to discuss future career opportunities.
  • Talk with our current students who will be on hand to showcase their projects and speak directly about their university experiences.

Being located on the Cultural Boulevard of Adelaide, you could extend your visit by taking your class to the State Library, SA Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia or even the Adelaide Zoo, all on our doorstep.
