Master of Teaching (Middle & Secondary)

"The University has provided me with a wonderful education in both music and teaching. I stayed at the university for my Masters because the staff and students on campus are wonderful, caring and so willing to help. The facilities are incredible and the campus has become my second home."

Anton Suh

Master of Teaching (Middle & Secondary)

The teaching staff at the School of Education have been extremely reliable, as they themselves are equipped with years of experience in secondary teaching. The passion and care that the degree organisers put into the degree was what truly made one of the greatest two years of my life.

Nicholas Scalzi

Master of Teaching (Middle & Secondary)

"I wanted to be more employable in my home state. I wanted to challenge myself by learning about a profession that was completely different to what I was in previously. A drastic career change CAN completely turn your life around and point you in a positive direction."

Ebony Brouwers

I am so grateful to Mildura Senior College for the opportunity to return to my high school and complete a country teaching placement. I gained a completely new perspective on education being a teacher in the same classrooms I was a student. The community welcomed me back and were extremely accommodating during my time teaching both face-to-face and remotely. The unprecedented circumstances of COVID-19 presented challenges I never expected to experience whilst studying teaching, but the support I was offered made the entire process straightforward. I also believe it is essential for future educators to gain an understanding of both metro and rural school communities, and I have been lucky enough to experience both in the two professional experiences I have completed so far. I feel very fortunate to have undergone this placement and given the opportunity to prepare myself for my career in ways I never expected.

Ebony was a wonderful representative of her University while on placement at MSC. She thrived despite the limitations and challenges presented by COVID-19.Andrew Banks, Site Coordinator, Mildura Senior College
