'The Arab Spring and the Arabists' Winter: Revisiting Orientalism'

The 2012 Lecture was delivered on Saturday 22nd of September at Norwood Town Hall by Professor Ilan Pappé.

Ilan Pappé is an Israeli historian, author, and activist. A graduate of Oxford University, Pappé is Professor at Exeter University in the UK, director of the university's European Centre for Palestine Studies and co-director of the Exeter Centre for Ethno-Political Studies. He was descriobed by John Pilger as 'Israel bravest, most principles and most incisive historian'.

Pappé published some 16 books and numerous scholarly and editorial articles. He took part in many forums and is regularly interviewed on different media outlets.
