Bubble Rap win Open Mic Night

Faculty of Arts held a fantastic Open Mic Night event at UniBar at the North Terrace Campus last night.

Students from across the university were invited to perform and perfect their skills in front of an audience of peers and university staff. The vibrant event showcased performers across jazz, RnB pop, comedic music and rapping.

Judges Derek Pascoe (professional saxophone player and lecturer at the Elder Conservatorium of Music), Tom Hajdu (Director of the Sia Furler Institute of Contemporary Music and Media) and Billy St John (B Music Education student) had the challenging task to select a top three from the stellar lineup.

Congratulation to prize-winners Bubble Rap, Evie Lucas and Nightminds who won vouchers for their outstanding acts.
