Hajdu is newly appointed as the Director of the Sia Furler Institute, he also holds the Chair of Creative Technologies and is Adjunct Professor at the University of Adelaide.
Tom Hajdu is one of the world's most passionate and innovative entrepreneurs who has heavily influenced the role of music in the film, television and advertising industries. Tom co-founded successful US music production company ‘tomandandy’, which uses technology to revolutionise the way music is produced and was a key influencer in the early days of MTV.
Tom has continued his impressive work in Australia with his appointment as Chief Advisor for Innovation, responsible for the innovation strategy for the South Australian economy. Tom is also CEO of Disrupter, a company which has developed a way to create deeper and more creative strategic technologies. Disrupter recently launched two companies: Umbilical, a software development company, and uNET, a new network system. Disrupter patents range from artificial intelligence to level zero networking.
