Postgraduate Study in Philosophy

The Philosophy Department offers both an MPhil and a PhD by research. These awards are intended for students who have already completed a substantial amount of philosophy at undergraduate level, normally to Honours level. They may be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis. For examples of successful PhD proposals follow the links in Past Research Projects below.
