For the best thesis submitted for Master of Arts or Doctor of Philosophy dealing with an aspect or period of the history of Britain or of a country whose political and legal history derives from Britain

For the best essay or thesis as part of either undergraduate or honours study on a topic relating to Russian History

Fredric S Zuckerman Prize
For the best essay or thesis as part of either undergraduate or honours study on a topic relating to the History of the Holocaust

George Cockburn Henderson Prize
For the best essay in an Advanced Level History course

John F Kennedy Memorial Scholarship
For admission to the Bachelor of Arts; Honours History

The L F and D Denholm Scholarship
The Scholarship will be open to full time postgraduate research students in the field of 17th and 18th Century European (including British) History

Lynda Tapp Prize in History
For attainment of the highest mark in an Advanced Level History course

Lynda Tapp Prize in History
For the best essay in an Advanced Level History course

Lynda Tapp Prize in Honours History
For the best Honours History thesis

Natalia Davies Prize
For the most meritorious student in first-year History

Tinline Scholarship for History
For highest attainment in the final examination for Bachelor of Arts Honours History

The Hugh Martin Weir Prize
The Barr Smith Library is pleased to invite applicants for the Hugh Martin Weir Prize. Applications open on the 1st of October of the current year and close on the 10th of December of the current year.
